Terms of Service

Effective August 28, 2026 · Private beta draft — subject to counsel review before general availability.

1. What Quattrino is

Quattrino provides commerce infrastructure for autonomous AI agents: agent identity, spending wallets with hard budgets, a deterministic policy and approval engine, payment orchestration across supported providers, a service marketplace, and complete audit records. Quattrino is not a bank and does not take deposits. Funds move through regulated third-party payment providers.

2. Beta status and simulated capabilities

Quattrino is in private beta. Certain capabilities are explicitly simulated — including the x402 machine-payment rail, seller payout execution, payment credential issuance, and email delivery — and are labeled as such throughout the product. Simulated capabilities never move real money and are never presented as live financial services.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the agents you register, the credentials you issue to them, the budgets and policies you configure, and all activity performed under your organization. Treat agent API keys as secrets. Configure budgets and policies to reflect the maximum loss you are prepared to accept from autonomous activity.

4. Fees

Quattrino charges platform fees per our published pricing rules, which are versioned and auditable. Fees are always assessed separately from merchant charges — we never inflate a merchant's price to hide our fee. Fee schedules may change with notice; a transaction is always charged under the rule version active when it was created.

5. Acceptable use

Use of the platform is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend organizations, agents, sellers or listings that violate it, with an audit trail of every moderation action.

6. Liability

The platform is provided "as is" during beta. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quattrino's aggregate liability is limited to the platform fees you paid us in the three months preceding a claim. We are not liable for the conduct of merchants, sellers, payment providers, or your agents.

7. Changes and termination

You may close your organization at any time; ledgers and audit records are retained as required for financial recordkeeping. We may amend these terms with 14 days' notice for material changes.
